Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to shop Comic-Shirts.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We design and build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

What we do

• Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast, and color is never the only way information is shown. For example, sold-out sizes are labeled, not just grayed out.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
• Pages use real headings, landmarks, labeled form fields and buttons, so assistive technology can describe them accurately.
• Product images have text alternatives built from the product name and color.
• Help and contact links are in the same place on every page.
• Animation is minimal and is turned off when your device is set to reduce motion.
• The layout is designed to adapt to small screens and to zoom up to 400% without losing content.

Known limitations

• Product photos and descriptions come from our supplier. Some photos show printed designs or text that their image description does not fully capture. If you need more detail about a design, email us and we will describe it.
• Checkout is hosted by our payment processor, Stripe. Stripe maintains its own accessibility program for its checkout pages.
