Description

Before Aquaman returned he was an evil zombie promoting the annihilation of all living things. In the critically acclaimed Green Lantern epic 'THE BLACKEST NIGHT ' Aquaman was one of several (hundred) heroes violently resurrected as a 'Black Lantern.' Yes a Black Lantern -- evil zombie superheroes powered by universal entropy (i.e. 'death') and controlled through stylish black rings. After Earth's assembled heroes and 97% of the Green Lantern Corps stymied death's incursion the tenacious power of life -- stored by the White Lantern Power Battery --- resurrected 12 heroes. And yes Aquaman was one of twelve. Our Aquaman Good Vs Evil Men's Sublimated T-Shirt harkens back to the 'Blackest Night' epic and more importantly the 12-issue follow-up series 'Brightest Day.' 'Brightest Day' traced the lives of these newly resurrected heroes and kicked off their new adventures in the DC Universe. Made from 100% polyester this sublimated Aquaman t-shirt features one-half of the cover to Brightest Day #2 rendered by artist David Finch. Wait 'one-half' Don't worry the other half -- the scary half -- is on the back: ZOMBIE AQUAMAN! AAAAH!!!!!! Yes it's terrifying but beautifully captured by the superior sublimation process which extends to brighter longer lasting colors. Here's the scoop straight from the manufacturer: 'These are not your typical shirts; sublimation is a viable and durable solution to the industry standard of ink jet heat transfers. The sublimation process takes a large sheet of in- soaked paper heated to ridiculous temperatures which causes the ink to literally bind to the fabric. This causes the shirt's image to become amazingly resilient to the ravages of time! This technique can result in small imperfections generally around the armpit seams and stretched spots on the shirt. It is something that is intrinsic with this process but it makes each shirt wholly unique.'
