10% off all Batman Comics and Graphic Novels Format: 48 pages Soft Cover Full color Written: Ann Nocenti Artist: Ethan Van Sciver Colorist: Chris Chuckry Letterer: John Costanza Published: 2004 The race for the ultimate weapon the Smart Gun is on in this 2-issue Prestige Format miniseries by Ann Nocenti (Daredevil) & Ethan Van Sciver (New X-Men)! The entire criminal underworld is pursuing a gun that never misses. Catwoman considers the firearm to be the score of a lifetime which will put her at the top of the criminal heirarchy affirming forever her reputation as Queen of Thieves. All she needs to do is keep the gun out of the hands of rival criminal factions. But she has one more competitor: the Batman who wants the weapon out of circulation permanently! Aside from the flawed logic of a 'heat seeking smart gun' that never misses this is still a pretty good read. The reader just has to suspend belief while reading the book don't put too much thought into the concept of a gun actually doing what it is said to do. It can get kind of preacher as well however the art is well done good lines especially for catwoman and a good read. For the price you can't go wrong.
