Description
When a listless scrawny patriot took the Super Soldier Serum...it actually worked! On that day Steve Rogers became the greatest human fighting machine available to Democracy Captain America! This full size 1940's version of the original shield is a slight variation on the original design in terms of color scheme featuring red and white vertical stripes not the red white and blue of the original iteration. Why this variation Different artists contributed to the initial issues of Captain America's classic comic book and with different artists came this particular color preference seen multiple times in the original comics. This is a spot-on replica crafted with expertly hand formed steel and hand painted. This means that every shield replica is a little unique as they are individually constructed but they are as close to the replica specs as humanly possible! It even has the leather carry straps on the back bolted in place per the blueprints provided by Marvel and proper curvature to the steel. This Captain America replica shield also Includes a full size wood display plaque which mimics an old Army crate and is hand stenciled and a full color numbered certificate of authenticity. Only 500 of these have been crafted so you better man up and buy it fast private poop-cake!! Ships to the US and Canada Only.
