Description
Made from 316' stainless steel --- the 'good' stainless steel with a smidge less carbon -- the Flash Lightning Bolt Gem 14G Stainless Steel Belly Button Ring features an exquisitely bejeweled Flash symbol! Measuring 1 1/8' across in diameter the bolt is filled with blazing yellow stones and the circle's circumference is inset with blazing red ruby-like pebbles. Of course the Flash symbol isn't the only beguiling blissfully distracting shiny thing dangling from our durable Flash belly button ring. Check out the sizable red stone held by the curved barbell perhaps representing an arbitrary prodigious dispensation of Speed Force energy. And what's so dang important about 316L stainless steel Glad you asked: 316 Stainless Steel is the preferred steel where bio-compatibility is required (such as body implants and piercings). The 'L' means that the carbon content of the alloy is below 0.03% which reduces the sensitization effect. 316 steel has .08 Max carbon content while 316L has a .03 Max carbon content. Stainless steel does not contain corrode or rust as easily as ordinary steel. Though it will not oxidize or turn black it is still not 'stain-proof.'
