Michael Turner is absolutely fantastic at depicting Batman as a truely ominous dark knight. His ability to draw women is freaking awesome. He is now my favorite artist. This story continues with the Supergirl storyline. I was hooked from the beginning. Right now she is being trained by the Amazons with amazingly Superman and Batman present which is a big non-no for the Amazons. Wonder Woman is overseeing SUpergirls training. Batman is ever the suspicious knight. Superman the over protective 'big brother'. They are perfectly balanced. Batman and WOnder Woman believe that Supergirl should not be in Metropolis she is too dangerous and has too much power that could be exploited hint foreshadow! Superman wants Kara Supergirl with him where she can be safe. Just then... a boom tube opens up and a shrieking horde of Doomsday clones attack Amazon Island! No really! A bunch of Doomsday duplicates created by Darkseid which Luthor gave Doomsday to are all attacking and Batman picks up a battle axe and starts to lay waste. God you have to have this comic and read this entire series if you already haven't!
